Mirrors

Gordon Russell clearly enjoyed designing mirrors - either for
dressing tables, or freestanding on chests of drawers. Some of the
most striking freestanding designs embodied a base containing a set
of small drawers with an adjustable mirror set within posts.
They were essentially handmade - labour intensive, beautifully
detailed to display the skill of the cabinet maker.
A quite outstanding example is the one in the Museum, which has a
ratchet action to alter the angle of the mirror.
