J.A. Wilson

Joined the GR team in the early thirties, initially working in Broadway but moving later to Park Royal, where 800 people were engaged in the production of Murphy Radio cabinets.

In 1938 he designed the “Good Furniture Group” which drew on the lamination and bending techniques developed in the workshops.
With the start of the war, the range was never put into full production.

He returned to Broadway in 1940, by which time the firm was committed to wartime production.
