Gerard Taylor
Gerard Taylor studied product design at the Glasgow School of Art , and subsequently industrial design at the Royal College of Art in London.
After briefly working as a designer at the BBC he left for Italy where he joined Sottsass Associates in Milan and designed lighting, ceramics and carpets.
Gerard Taylor was the 3rd prize winner in the Office Furnisture Competition jointly sponsored by Gordon Russell, The Design Council, and the Architectural Review in 1984.
Following the take-over of the company by Steelcase Strafor in 1990, he was retained as a consultant working on desk projects.
