Maurice Holland
Trained as a Furniture Designer at the Royal College of Art. Moved to Sweden in 1952 to work for Nordiska Kompainet, leaving as head designer in 1967 to set up his own studio in partnership with his wife, Ulla.
The practice became engaged worldwide in the design of furniture, fabrics, carpets, lighting and complete interiors. A major commission during this period was an entire corporate programe for SAS.
2nd prize winner of the Gordon Russell Furniture Award in 1984.
