Teak

In colour it varies from a shade straw to a rich brown with sometimes dark and almost black streaks or veins. It is moderately hard and strong, with an even and straight grain and is easily worked. Teak has been successful in cabinet making in both the solid and veneer and with its ability to resist water has been used for outdoor furniture for many years.
